Hawaii!!

For spring break my family and I got the privilege of going to Lahina, Maui, Hawaii (thanks to frequent flyer miles). Our flight over there and back were a little rough but overall we had a great time and got some great stories!! (these pictures are not in order)

One of my favorite parts of Hawaii is that it is all of my favorite places combined. Although it was warm there was plenty of green and plus it was surrounded by beaches!

We were hiking around a little and we found this place where there were unbelievably strong winds. It was crazy!!

One of the main things people and locals talked about was the "blow hole" so we decided to go and check it out. Basically it was some big boulders with a hole in it and every time a wave would come in it would spray water super high in the air. It was amazing and dangerous if you got too close (note: the sign)

So we were driving along when we saw this sign and we decided to check it out...

We were met by this huge 6'2", 260 pound man who only had two teeth on the top of his mouth. He had apparently played professional football (but i kinda doubted that). We bought a coconut from him and he cut it open for us with a machete! It was pretty great.

This lady asked for a picture of him and he said yes. Then gave her his email so she could send it to him.

That pretty much wraps up our trip.. It was very relaxing and I would love to go again. The only part I did not like was going home...
